ThreeDify Excel Grapher is an OpenGL-based Excel Addin that plots 3D points, lines, surfaces or water-tight solids directly from user-specified cell ranges within MS Excel worksheets (of one or several open workbooks). Unlike other 3D plotters,
ThreeDify Excel Grapher works seamlessly within Excel, i.e., no flipping Back and Forth Between Excel and a separate, disjoint 3D plotting package.
ThreeDify Excel Grapher is both an end-user product and a developer tool. For developers,
ThreeDify Excel Grapher provides an extensive set of API that is callable from VB, VBA, Java Script and C++ clients.
In addition to being an add-in for MS Excel,
ThreeDify Excel Grapher can also run within any other COM containers, such as MS Access, Word, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer, etc. (in which case
ThreeDify Excel Grapher acts as a usual ActiveX control).
ThreeDify Excel Grapher features the following functionality:
* Plot multiple graph series inside Excel directly from user-specified cell ranges within MS Excel (when used as an Excel Addin only). The cell ranges can be specified from a single worksheet of the active workbook or from different worksheets in different open workbooks,allowing maximum flexibility in specifying input data for plotting;
* Easily specify X, Y, Z cell ranges to plot with mouse or keyboard selection. The specified cell ranges do not have to be of same dimension or size. They will be auto-resized.
* Powerful auto-generation of water-tight solids from unorganized points directly inside Excel;
* Ability to interpolate or assign values to empty cells
* Ability to set scales of coordinate axes;
* Ability to Zoom, Pan and Spin (with an Arcball interface) the graphs;
* Support for different plot styles for each graph series: Lines,Line-Segments, Points, Line-Point and Surface/Solid;
* Support for color attributes for individual data points;
* Support for perspective and orthographic projections
